Before booking a Tails sitting, here’s what you should know:

• Pet Information: Provide detailed information about your Tail’s routines, such as feeding times, exercise needs, and any specific habits or behaviors. Include information about their preferences for toys, treats, and activities.
• Booking Details: Specify the dates and times you’ll need our services, including any specific requirements or requests such as medication administration or additional walks.
• Meet and Greet: We highly recommend scheduling a meet-and-greet session before your booking. This allows us to meet your Tail in person, discuss their care needs, and address any questions or concerns you may have. It’s also an opportunity for your Tail to become familiar with our caregivers.
• Key Exchange: If you choose our in-home services, we’ll coordinate a secure key exchange during the meet-and-greet or at another convenient time. Alternatively, you can provide a lockbox or keypad code for access to your home.
• Emergency Contacts: Please provide emergency contact information, including your veterinarian’s details, as well as any alternate contacts who can make decisions on your behalf in case of an emergency. This ensures we can quickly reach out for assistance if needed.
• Supplies and Instructions: Ensure you have enough food, medication, and supplies for your Tail’s entire stay. Clearly label all items and provide detailed instructions for feeding, medication administration, and any other necessary care tasks. If your Tail has specific dietary restrictions or allergies, please inform us so we can accommodate their needs.
• Communication Preferences: Let us know your preferred method of communication (e.g., phone, text, email) and how often you’d like updates on your Tail’s well-being while you’re away. We’re happy to provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind during your time apart.
